REHEARSALS: Tuesdays 7.30-8.30am in M2 (Drama room)
Please arrive early to set up, ready to start at 7.30am. Afterward, the room must be reset and left looking better than when we got there!
Basic choir etiquette
- Bring your music and pencil to every rehearsal – and that includes sectionals!
- Speaking of which, keep an eye on the notices for news of these. “My teacher doesn’t read the notices out”, “I forgot to look” and other feeble excuses do not cut the mustard! Your section leaders want you to turn up, so will warn you of upcoming meetings - it’s your responsibility to be on the look-out for these notices.
- If, for some reason, you can’t make it to a rehearsal or sectional, let your section leader know in advance – it’s only polite.
- Finally, if you have an issue of any kind you’d like to address, talk to your section leader. If you have a problem with your section leader (or the issue is about your section leader), let the Choir Leader know. And if you have a problem with the Choir Leader, take your pick of any of the student conductors or the Top Dog himself, Mr. Burcin.
